Course overview

Discover the art of glass fusing in this fun and creative day introduction class, perfect for beginners. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to design and create your own glass artwork using colourful frit (crushed glass) to “paint” your design.

Students will create: 1 x A5 painting and 1 Platter —while exploring basic glass fusing techniques, colour blending, and composition. No prior experience is required, and all materials and guidance are provided in a supportive, relaxed environment.

Your finished pieces will be fired in a kiln and ready for collection approximately two weeks after the class.

Come along and enjoy experimenting with colour, texture, and glass while creating a unique artwork to take home!

All materials provided.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Enclosed shoes. No thongs or sandals.

Please tie back long hair.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least ONE week before the course commences.

All courses need a minimum number of students to run (“we try our hardest to get those”). If your course does not have enough students, it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
