Best of all, our memories are all in one place: the journal. Learn some simple and easy sketching techniques to kick start your own personal travel record.

Course overview

These techniques can also be applied to “Pein-Air” (in open air) sketching anywhere, including your own backyard. You don’t need much so let’s get started!

BRING THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS TO CLASS WITH YOU

A5 size sketch pad or art journal (heavy, good quality paper preferred)

4B or 6B pencil

Rubber (Kneadable rubber preferred)

Plus, if you already have the following items, bring them:

Permanent ink pen (eg brands: Micron, Rotring, Uniball)

Aquabrush

Water soluble graphite pencil, any grade.

All students MUST wear closed in shoes
